PUMPOUT service

• Free service provided by the Edgartown Harbormaster Department on a daily basis between the hours of 0800-1500.

• We require that you are on your vessel for Pumpouts. If you are not on your vessel we will not be able to pumpout the vessel.

• Pumpouts are completed chronologically by order of request and location.

  Emergency pumpouts available when possible.

• Hail "Edgartown Pumpout" directly on VHF Ch. 74. 

• Upon acknowledgement, respond with your:

  • Vessel name

  • Location in Edgartown

  • Side your deck cap/tank is on

• Pumpout Boat will come to your mooring, slip, or location in anchorage.

While we do our best to accommodate all unique situations, we ask that vessels with known departure times request pumpouts thoughtfully in advance.
