For over a decade the Town has chosen to contract Old Port Marine of Newport RI to be the licensed launch provider for Edgartown waters.
Yachtsmen can hail "Old Port Launch" on channel 68 VHF.
The launch provides service to the anchorage in the outer harbor, all moorings in the inner harbor including the upper third of Katama Bay. In Katama Bay a buoy marks the limit of launch service.
When arriving always check with the launch captain to obtain the daily operating hours! The hours are adjusted seasonally.
Daily, monthly, and seasonal rates can be obtained from the launch captains.
